My condolences to Gunn's husband and family. Gunn left a lasting impression on me that began in 1963/64 when we dated in Bern, Switzerland. I emigrated to the U.S. in September of 1965 and we kept corresponding by letter. She expressed a desire to follow me to 'America', but visas were difficult to obtain at the time. She moved to England, worked as a tour guide for a while, later told me that she dated a golf pro, (before they made a lot of money). Gunn has always kept a place in my heart and after a very long period (decades) of not checking on her whereabouts I Googled her last night to find out both, that she eventually married and died three months ago. I hope she had a happy and exciting life, full of love and care by those close to her. Since it has been many decades, I don't know if she had children, perhaps there is another woman on man with her solid character, great humor, charm, warmth and class to enrich us all. I am sad that her life could not last longer and sorry that I did not reach out to her as a friend while she was with us.
P.S. I have some photographs, e-mail me if you are interested.
